Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Permanent (Monday to Friday) Plus on Allowance (Call out 1-5)

NG Bailey Facilities Services are looking for a talented mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team that delivers an exceptional high standard of building services provision to our client at RTC Business Park, DE24 8UP

You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service possible.

 

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: 

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance mechanical plant, and associated building services infrastructure.
• Ensure work is undertaken in line with specific method statements & risk assessments and relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey health and safety systems and procedures.
• Provide excellent service delivery by ensuring PPM tasks and reactive works are completed within contractual Service Level Agreement’s to meet KPI’s.
• Ensure that all Operational activities are carried out in Compliance with internal regulations and external Legislation governing the Business Operations.
• Capable of working without assistance and managing Reactive Works & Small Projects carried out by others
• Complete all documentation, logbooks, certificates, and compliance records accurately.
• Identify defects, recommend remedial works, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• The position is Monday to Friday 0700 -15.30 or 08.00 – 16.30

  

What we are looking for:

An experienced Technician working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service.

You will hold current qualifications to include

• Level 2 or 3 Equivalent from a Mechanical Discipline / Plumbing Qualification
• Small mechanical installation works (valves, taps, etc) 
• Experience of PPM’s to Pumps, AHUs, FCUs, Pressurisation units, Vessels, actuators, Water Heaters calorifiers etc.
• Legionella qualification/experience
• Understanding of RAMS, Point of work risk assessments
