Administrator (Hire Controller)

Freedom require a Hire desk controller based out of our Stowmarket office to work on the Northern Powergrid Cable Engineering Services contract.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Liaising with hire company to ensure plant is hired in accordance with regional requirements
- Ensuring the quotation is received back from the hire company and uploaded to the project management system in a timely manner
- Laiasing with project managers to resolve any operational issues
- Working closely with the finance administrator in our Wakefield office to ensure invoices received are in line with contract.

- Developing and maintaining knowledge of depot equipment for hire/sale, including safety and test requirements.

We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience and knowledge of construction plant hire (desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
